Welcome to Andrusz Carriage horse drawn funeral carriage services. What a beautiful and peaceful way to commemorate your loved one on the way to their final resting place. Our new horse drawn hearse Victorian inspired and custom made for Andrews Carriage Service in 2018 is finished with high gloss grey paint, and pin striping in black with chrome carriage lights topped with the most beautiful ostrich feather plumes. This glass enclosed hearse is built to accommodate all modern caskets. Andrusz Carriage also has an open air Caisson style horse drawn hearse built in 2016 and is finished with high gloss black and burgundy paint with gold pin stripes along with polished brass carriage lights, this hearse will accommodate all modern caskets. Either one of our horse drawn carriage funeral hearses will provide dignity and grace during this difficult time. Your loved one will be pulled by a team of Percheron draft horses or a team of Belgian draft horses dressed in brightly polished show harnesses topped with Ostrich feather head plumes. The Coachman will be dressed in a top hat and formal attire. Family members & friends may choose to walk behind the hearse & one family member may ride with the coachman. It will be our privilege to assist the family in their time of need.
Our horse drawn hearse funeral carriage service is available in Buffalo New York, Rochester N.Y., Syracuse N.Y., Central New York, and all of Western New York. Due to the possibility of previous bookings have your funeral director contact us for availability before the funeral service time is scheduled, or contact Dan directly and he will contact your Funeral Director. We will also need logistic information to determine feasibility and rates. Please have your funeral director contact us for arrangements. We also arrange for a funeral carriage hearse caisson to take the dearly departed from either of the following (depending on distance):
- The funeral home to the church
- The funeral home to the cemetery
- The church to the cemetery
- The cemetery entrance to the grave site
For longer destinations the funeral director and coachman can determine a point of transfer having the Pall bearers transfer the casket from the motorized hearse to the horse drawn hearse or caisson and continue to your loved ones final resting place.
