Andrusz Carriage Service will provide the finest White Horse (Ghori) for your traditional East Indian Wedding Baraat.
Sam, our beautiful white Percheron horse who stands 18 hands tall and weighs 2000 pounds will be dressed in a traditional Wedding horse costume along with a matching umbrella custom made and imported from India. Dan, the horse handler will be properly dressed in slacks, bright colored shirt and tie and appropriate headwear.

Sam, specializes in East Indian wedding Baraats, and over the years has come to enjoy the excitement and splendor of the East Indian Wedding. Amplified music, alongside (Dhol) drum players and dancing guests will not upset the horse.
You can have your choice of riding on our fully costumed white horse, or in our beautiful white carriage pulled by our white horse.
Traditionally the white horse is a female (mare) as opposed to a male (stallion). The reason is that mares are more docile than stallions, which is certainly true. Castrated male horses (geldings) are much quieter and easier to handle during the Indian Wedding ceremony than a mare which can have fluctuating hormonal changes and can become to jumpy and sensitive to use effectively.
For this reason most of the horses used for the Indian ceremonies are geldings. Our primary concern is that the Groom reaches the ceremony quietly and safely.
